It may be severely deformed, but....

It has a normal heart beat. That's what Selena said on the way home! I'm afraid she was rather disappointed not to be ultrasounded (as described by her below). As to the heartbeat... I couldn't help but wonder if it was the bellyfull of bown beans we were hearing (with slightly fried onions, and "veggie breakfast links", and toast, to be precise). See photographic evidence taken just before the appointment.

(Just kidding... it sounded more like an energetic little train chugging away in the distance.... but then I don't know what else she's been eating today...)
