Sick Party

As has been mentioned, we've all been sick, to varying degrees, lately. This past apartment-bound weekend was especially dreary. It was Anne's birthday, also. We had entertained some thoughts of cruising by her place to drop off the card Istra had drawn. But we decided best not even to attempt that. On Sunday, tired of doing nothing, we decided to order some takeout and have a birthday party for Anne. For her present we decided not to invite her. Or even tell her about it. Surprise! Happy birthday! I just took a few pictures to commemorate. I think it no exaggeration if I say I believe I captured perfectly the spirit of the weekend.
