... a very small one. I just finished the first draft of my MRP!
It's only 56 pages, but I feel like I've written 100. Oh wait, that's because I have written 100--those 56 pages of "real" writing came out of over 50 pages of notes.
There's no rest for the wicked, however; I've already got comments back from my supervisor on the chapter that I submitted to her before Christmas and there's some major revision to do--major revision meaning additional research as well as revision of the grammatical kind.
But it's January 13th and I'm done my first draft! I'm optimistic that I can keep my February (preferably before my birthday) deadline.
The revision process will be a new experience for me. I've never actually worked with a professor on revisions before--usually you just write your paper, revise it yourself, hand it in and then that's it, you're done. When I think of how many times she might make me revise this, I do get a little bit frightened.
But to put all that aside, it's January 13th and I've finished my first draft! Yippee!
